The global economy has coped better than expected with the energy crisis and the increase in key interest rates. Despite generally moderate optimism and a tense situation due to the internationally high inflation and the increased interest rates, CEO Marc Schori is very confident about the future. He starts positively into the business year 2023 with his team. He gives us a possible forecast for the expected business development of René Gerber AG:
 

• The recovery and stabilization of the markets in China, the USA, and Europe are positively impacting.The demand for luxury watches continues unabated. The watch industry in the luxury segment is internationally regarded as a weather barometer for the economy and puts us in a positive mood.

 

• René Gerber AG launched the 2022 newly developed brush polishing machines: "BP Motion,” "BS Robo," and "BS Eco 2 heads". The focus resides particularly on the processing of round tools and MedTech applications.

 

• Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges of our time. Sustainability is an integral part of René Gerber AG's corporate strategy. The goal is a C02-neutral energy balance! By spring 2023, we will generate our solar power. Further measures for heating, etc., are already being planned.
